Carrier Air Conditioner

Carrier offers three series of central air conditioners, from Comfort^TM Series that have more economical pricing with the SEER efficiency ratings ranging up to 16, Performance^TM Series that include a compact unit for tighter installation, all the way to its top-tier Infinity^TM Series with SEER rating of up to 21.

Seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) is the number that represents the ratio between energy input and cooling accomplished. The higher the SEER is, the higher the energy efficiency level is.

Whether you go with the basic series or the highest series air conditioner, Carrier air conditioners focus on reducing environmental damage with cleaner technologies in general. Since 1994, Carrier has been phasing out refrigerants that deplete the zone.

Carrier Furnace

Similar to its air conditioners, Carrier Furnaces have several series, ranging from the Comfort Series, Performance Series, to top-of-the-line Infinity Series. The Infinity Series has better performing systems that include Carrier’s Greenspeed intelligence technology, which gives the gas furnaces the quietest and most efficient models with AFUE up to 98.5%.

We always recommend clients select systems with higher annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE). This number is the proportion of input energy that gets transformed into thermal energy for the house. Keep in mind that the higher the AFUE is, the more efficient the system is, and the more you’ll save on your heating bills per year.
