Los Angeles Rams Riddell TK-2 Kra-Lite helmet from 1970 as shown by the date stamp above the ear hole. This was a Riddell lamp as described below, so helmet is vintage, including the painted horns as Riddell did for the Rams through 1973. The horns are not decals! The white helmet was taped and painted, with the tape then being removed to reveal the white horns of the original finish of the original helmet shell. Helmet has been customized to represent the RIDDell TK helmet worn in 1970 by All-Time great and Rams favorite Les Josephson by adding the Rams’ famous dymo tape with Josephson’s name and number 34. This beauty also includes the most widely used football helmet face mask on the planet, the Riddell 2-bar BD-9 facemask, and this one is date matched 1970 to the helmet! Very Rare helmet to find as Riddell only produced these helmet lamps using actual game quality helmets to make these lamps for 3 years. Please note: we are not claiming this helmet was issued to or used by Mr. Josephson, but this is about as close to what he wore as you can get without owning his helmet. Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field
