I was staying in Norfolk in the summer of 2024, and I could feel her prickling at my edges. I had a canvas, but no oils or acrylics, just watercolours. Hence the ethereal and watery qualities that she came alive with. The Hermit in the tarot is a radical invitation to withdraw, go within, know what you know. From here we can quieten the world noise
