Germany, Wehrmacht. A Close Combat Clasp, Silver Grade Newly Listed maker marked “9” and “Ges(Nahkampfspange in Silber). Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse with a Wehrmacht style German eagle clutching a mobile swastika above a bayonet and stick grenade, within a square oak leaf wreath with a magnetic metal backplate, with sun rays emanating from the centre of the left and right sides, and with four oak leaves and two acorns on each side, the reverse with a barrel hinge and magnetic banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch,
