They were founded as a two piece in 1979 by the rhythm section Wright brothers, Rob and John, and slowly added members over the years, ending up as a three piece for most of their career and even as a four piece for a period of time. They released records on the legendary Alternative Tentacles and their on Wrong Records, amassing ten full lengths as well as a number of singles, EPs, and splits. The band
