A German Cross In Gold; 1957 Version Newly Listed under command of Major MackinlayA German Cross in Gold; 1957 Version In silvered and gilded tombac, fine quality, weighs 75 grams, four rivets, multi piece construction, in mint condition. These (denazified) awards were issued by the Federal Republic of Germany in 1957 for Veterans wear (as WWII awards were not allowed for wear) and awarded only to the German Veterans entitled to such awards during the War; production of these awards ceased in 1986.
