In silver with red, white, blue and green enamels, Gold centrepieces, horizontally pierced ball suspension, hallmarked with a fasces guarantee mark on the ring therefore dating the original body of the order to pre 1809 from the First Empire, the medal with replacement Gold centepieces representing the Second Restoration period, measuring 40. 3 (w) x 64. 5 (h) inclusive of its wreath and ball
