Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with clasp, the obverse bearing a central monogram of Prince Georg Wilhelm, situated within a circular laurel leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a central inscription of FR MILITAIR VERDIENST (FOR MILITARY MERIT), situated within a circular laurel
