Assmann & Söhne consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac surrounded by a silver ring(Fallschirmschtzenabzeichen). Constructed of nickel silver and brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of F.
