A silver cross patte alise, with gilded bronze swords crossing through the centre, the obverse centre with the crowned cipher of King Wilhelm II of Wrttemberg, the reverse centre presents the inscription VERDIENST (MERIT), measuring 31. 68 mm (w) x 31. 48 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition.
