Beautiful cabinet photograph of the composer by Georg Michel (Strassbourg), signed and inscribed with a long sentiment by the composer, with a music quote on its verso. Nessler wrote 3 bars from the second act of his opera "Der Trumpeter von Sckingen". Size is 4. 2 x 6. 5 inches, in wonderful condition.
