Moric Lutzmannsburg Blaufränkisch ‘Kirchberg’ 2019 great-northern displaying lemon and grapefruit pithKirchberg is the steepest slope in Lutzmannsberg, surrounded by forests. Its the most calcareous part, and there are four vineyards here planted between 1921 and the 1980s. Spontaneously fermented in an open wooden vat with 10 to 15% whole clusters. Then matured in old 500 liter barrels for two years. A steeper northwest location with a very high lime content above the village of Kirchstetten. Definitely a cooler location. The vines here are 35 to 100
