Mendelssohn, Felix - Autograph Letter Signed c. 1833 playbills opera from the Worth Avenue NationalGerman composer (1809 1847), pianist, organist and conductor of the early Romantic period and one of the greatest in music history. Autograph letter signed, to a Mrs. Moscheles (probably the wife of composer Ignaz Moscheles (1794 1870)), in German (sold untranslated), dated in July, circa 1833. Mendelssohn is thanking her for returning some borrowed books and requesting an address. Lacquer stamp with a barely visible monogram inside, unidentified.
