The 4 micron aluminum ribbon has a figure 8 polar pattern to provide equal sensitivity on both sides of the element. It also provides consistent performance, regardless of the distance of a sound source. The ribbon has a smooth, natural response and no active electronics to overload or produce distortion. This gives
