In silver with red, green and blue enamels, silver monogram of King Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, marked "MN" (Monetaria Nationala = National Mint) and flanked by "520" at the left and "42" at the right, along with a crown for . 800 silver fineness, marked "SILBER" (silver) and maker marked "CFZ" (C.
