An extremely well preserved Swiss Model 1957 bayonet, measuring 380 mm in length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 240 mm long magnetic metal blade with a sharpened tip and unsharpened edges. The obverse ricasso bears a makers mark in the form of the logo of Swiss firm Wenger, while the reverse is marked with a serial number of 431536 and a W, similarly indicating manufacture by Wenger.
