The band was formed by childhood friends and their humorous lyrics and classic heavy metal riffs made them into a hit band. Their debut EP, As Ugly As They Wanna Be, was release by Stardog in 1991 and was the first EP ever go Multi Platinum. This original Ugly Kid Joe promo poster, with creasing and light surface marks, features the album art from As Ugly As They Want Be.
