A Schlageter Shield, Type II with Rhein/Ruhr Campaign Clasp, by Paul Küst consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac most of which are sewn(Schlageter Schild, 2. Form). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, surrounding a pebbled oval field, bearing a raised inscription of SCHLAGETER, with a Latin Cross extending from the top edge, in turn flanked by RHEIN RUHR 1923 24 campaign clasps, the reverse with four visible clips securing the clasps in position, with a vertical pinback affixed to a crimped
