The sweatband is tan leather and dyed black on its upper
the Olympic rings and the Lufthansa insignia on the front cover
His father was a Navy artificer
and to become a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (1947-1952) and later was a composer for Eastman Kodak International Films (1952-1954)
Saxony-Coburg/Gotha. A Commemorative War Cross Hold Bronze plaque(Kriegserinnerungszeichen). Issued 1922. A bronze cross pattee; the obverse dated 1914, with a laurel leaf stem, and the crowned royal monogram of Carl Eduard; the reverse depicting the Saxon coat of arms; vertical pinback; measuring 29. 68 mm (w) x 29. 85 mm (h); weighing 8. 5 grams; in overall very fine condition.
