Germany, Wehrmacht. A Close Combat Clasp In Bronze By Josef Feix & Söhne United Republic of After his Mexican-American War service(Nahkampfspange in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed feinzink, the obverse consisting of a crossed bayonet and stick grenade inside of a square oak leaf wreath, topped by a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, flanked on each side by four sunrays and four oak leaves, the centerpiece with a magnetic metal backplate, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, with a designers mark of F. E. C. W. E.
