Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of a shield overlaid by a sword with a sunwheel style swastika pommel, circumscribed by an inscription of BANNTRAFFEN HJ DH B. 30 15. 7. 34 COBURG, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), a scarce badge in extremely fine condition.
