An extremely well preserved Luftwaffe Officers visor cap, constructed of dark blue grey wool with a fine whipcord weave. It features reinforced side walls which are lined on the exterior with a ribbed black mohair cap band. Both the top and bottom edges of the band are trimmed with lengths of silver aluminum wire piping, while an additional identical piping fully surrounds the outer edge of the crown. Stitched onto
