Russia, Imperial. A St. George Cross, IV Class visually-hidden GravenhageInstituted March 19, 1856. A IV Class cross, in silver, obverse bearing a St. George on horseback spearing a dragon, the reverse medallion bearing the cypher SG, with 4 on the 6 oclock arm, the 3 and 9 oclock arm presenting the impressed number 126525, measures 35. 1 mm (w) x 40. 5 mm (h inclusive of integral ring), weighs 11. 57 grams, suspended from loop, small knocks and contact marks, lovely patina, in very fine condition.
