Issued 1870 1918. A silver gilt cross pattee; the obverse with a silver gilt cipher of Friedrich I within a bed of white enamels, surrounded by a silver gilt ring; identical reverse; with crossed swords suspended from the top arm, suspended from a period original ribbon; measuring 36. 62 mm (w) x 36. 46 mm (h); in overall better than very fine condition.
