A German Red Cross Active Membership Badge, Karlsruhe District, by Alfred Stübbe Province of China with considerable wear on multiple(Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Brosche fr Schwesternschaft). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, stamped with an inscription of KARLSRUHE and membership number 844, maker marked A. STBBE, BERLIN, measuring 42 mm in diameter, demonstrating flecking and fine cracking to the enamels with loss of gilt finish throughout the base metal, in very fine condition.
