Giraldoni, Leone - Autograph Letter Signed 1864 playbills opera years 1959 through 1977Celebrated Italian baritone (1824 1897), who created the title roles of Verdi's Simon Boccanegra (1857) and Renato in Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera (1859). Autograph letter in Italian (sold untranslated) signed by him, dated in Madrid, February 27, 1864, to the music publisher Leone Escudier in Paris requesting the publication of an article in his magazine. Size is 5. 25 x 8. 2 inches, 1 page, in excellent condition.
