reverting to the rank of Corporal and remained in action until he returned to Canada in December 1944
Evers was returned to the USA at the request of his family and is buried in a cemetery in Alabama

GIORGI stamped into the obverse under portrait, the reverse bears GUERRA ITALO TURCA 1911 12 (ITALIAN TURKISH WAR 1911 12) encompassed by a laurel
