Instituted 18 June 1825 by Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm III. (1825 1912 issue). Constructed of blackened magnetic metal, affixed to a bronze backer with a period original ribbon and horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 28 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
