Braunschweig, Dukedom. An Order Of Henry The Lion, I Class Honour Medal Hold that were caused by "long(Orden Heinrich des Lwen, Ehrenzeichen I. Klasse). Instituted on 25 April 1834 by Duke Wilhelm. (1903 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse with a central monogram of Duke Wilhelm inside of an oak leaf wreath, the reverse with an inscription of IMMOTA FIDES (UNSHAKABLY FAITHFUL), unmarked, measuring 31. 12 mm in diameter, weighing 13. 7 grams, in extremely fine condition.
