An RZM EM/NCO SS Belt Buckle - This steel (magnetic) buckle was produced by the Assmann firm in 1940

including a 1914 Iron Cross medallion

a tab stitched in place on the underside with a smooth finished butterscotch-coloured upper on the right end

The soldier in question is Karl Koch (born 1905)

the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting round wire catch

Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD WITH US) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, maker marked with the logo of Josef Feix & Shne, Gablonz, measuring 64 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
