Constructed of bronze, consisting of an oval disc perforated with a single eyelet for chain suspension, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of STAATLICHE KRIMINALPOLIZEI (Kripo), the lower edge bearing a raised guide bar topped by a stamped identification number of 12785, unmarked, measuring 51. 10 mm (w) x 37. 21 mm (h),
