The first batch of fifty F-S Fighting Knives were produced in January 1941 by Wilkinson Sword Ltd after Fairbairnand Sykes had travelled down to their factory from the Special Training Centre at Lochailort
it is of machine woven
all suspended from a 175 mm-long bronze bar with a horizontal pinback and black wool reverse liner
the bottom end of the rope hanging down and forming a large loop
scratching of the hilt’s nickel plating

A mixed lot of nine badges and insignia, with examples issued to the Heer, Luftwaffe, NSKK, RAD, and NSKOV, featuring pieces of aluminum, zink, and bronze construction, some demonstrating loss of finish (deliberate in the case of the Wound Badge), in overall better than very fine condition.
