A Rare First War (No. 1) Jewish Infantry Company Cap Badge consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac 74 mm (w) x 53In pickled copper, unmarked, measuring 41. 8 mm (w) x 43. 5 mm (h), both lugs intact, greening evident on the reverse, extremely fine. Footnote: (No. 1) Jewish Infantry Company was organized on February 1, 1917 and disbanded on September 15, 1920.
