This perfumed and fleshy red comes from a single vineyard of 30 year old Tempranillo and Garnacha bush vines grown on granitic sand and clay
the naturally-fermented base wine is chilled to stop the fermentation when there is still 25-30 g/l residual sugar remaining
bursts of acidity with juicy fruit and solid rocky back bone to go the journey
the typical Mosel minerality and its fruity and spicy aromatics combine to give a first-class tasting pleasure
Frankland Estate Gruner Veltliner 2025 prithe-wine-front Here the low cropping vinesA lovely combination of spice and dried pear with slight citrus notes on the nose. Stone fruit, dried summer grass and earthy tones are supported by delicate white and yellow florals and a juicy fruitfulness. The palate is delicate but fleshed out with some textural generosity and a fine weight and line. Textured and linear yet generous in flavour. The spice and floral mix are undeniably Grner Veltliner. Fresh bright and delicious, this wine will age
