An First War Field Pilot's Badge, Named And Dated Hold painted pressed paperEmperor Franz Joseph, in gilded bronze and enamels, 58. 85x62. 78mm, marked on reverse BSW, hollow rivets holding eagle in place, of very fine quality manufacture, excellent details on the eagle, leaves on the wreath beautifully and individually enameled, as they should be, circa 1916 17, weighs 22. 8 grams, textbook original example by this scarce maker, recipients name hand scratched on reverse, in very fine condition.
