A silver oval medal, suspended from a single toe claw attached to the center of the award with a slotted bar, suspended from their period original ribbons (with evidence of previous collectors mounting), with an India bar, the obverse depicting a crowned and robbed effigy of George V, inscribed Georgius V. D. G. Britt Omn Rex Et Indiae Imp in capital letters, the reverse inscribed For Efficient Service in capital letters,
