Italy, Kingdom. A Pair of Medals for Military Valour Buy Now red and blue enamel work(Al valore militare). Instituted in 1793. In bronze, obverse shows the coat of arms of Savoy with laurel branches, the royal crown, and the inscription Al valore militare, reverse shows laurel wreath, on original blue ribbon, 38 mm (h) x 33. 4 mm (w), very fine condition. Identical, smaller medal measuring 18. 4 mm (h) x 15. 7 mm (w), very fine condition. Footnote: This medal was instituted in 1793 by the King of Sardinia, and the bronze level of this
