Theatre Royal de L´Opera - Cairo - Program Lot 1920s [ESSAYS] Dvorak‚ WeberThe Theatre Royal de LOpera in Cairo, Egypt (Khedivial Opera House) was built in 1869 and housed the world premiere of Verdis "Aida" in 1871. The theater unfortunately disappeared in a big fire in 1971, after a long history of performances with very important singers, conductors and musicians. Collection of over 60 items, all from Cairo theaters, for performances of opera a large number of items are from the celebrated Theatre Royal de LOpera
