34-487A LNER Thompson First Corridor BR Maroon No. E11185E option-set-018 The design is fairly universalAs part of our Winter 2022 British Railway Announcements, we are pleased to present this LNER Thompson First Corridor Coach, No. E11185E in BR Maroon livery. Entering traffic just after World War Two, the Thompson coaches were the last mainline corridor coaches to be built by the LNER, and indeed examples continued to be outshopped after Nationalisation in 1948. Utilising steel panelling, a departure from the teak panelling traditionally seen on
