Indonesian Hand-Dyed Silk Scarf in Muted Coral batting These low-ling threads are mercerizedHand dyed by artisans in Indonesia, this muted coral silk scarf is approximately 12 in. wide by 46 in. long. The multiple colors are made through a resist dying technique called "Jumputan." Jumputan combines tie dye and a technique called 'tritik' which are made by stitching and gathering the textile before dyeing, similar to shibori. Makes a great one of a kind gift!
